I loved my job and showed up an hour early, got 5\3 the amount of mechanical design projects out, no charge backs in 2 years of designs(extremely rare), very few and often time no city plan check comments on my designs(rare), help others complete their projects on time since mine were always done and in folder, never took a single sick day, never took a single vacation day(got paid out), when Biden came to office and hating on straight white men became a popular thing "white man this, white man that" became a common talk in the office " if I saw a white persons name on a plan check I would not pass the plan check" racist comments and behaviors entered the workplace, and I was laid off 6 months later.... The best way to get ahead is not being a straight white male nowadays, Trump 2024 we need you ! For a man that gives his all and works hard to design this society and get advanced engineering degrees this country is treating us in a shameful and unforgivable way.

I didn’t get any more recognition, barely any more money, suffered a burnout induced mental breakdown that almost made me lose my whole family, and now seeing a cardiologist for stress induced heart failure at age 34. Leaving that job after 14 years in 3 weeks. DO NOT follow this advice because it’ll send you to the grave

I followed this advice. I did get better at job but I was burnout physically and mentally. I totaled my car due to sleep deprivation. The praise I got eventually reverted back to disrepect. If you want to quit job, consult your God and your bank account
